My Shoes

Trust gives us the freedom from doubt, Its the unaquited love that flushes out... The worries and fear that try to settle in our minds, We step forward without regret, we are confident this time, The let downs are valleys between the highs n lows, We may have to visit to humble us to know, That God has a plan for us..we must learn how to trust, I hear more in the silence than i do my own thoughts, The what ifs and maybes don't matter anymore, There is more room now for my heart to mature, Yet as i grow..i see more n more fear, All the bondage n insecurity much more clear, I pray God gives my heart the strength to listen, Holding onto his trust, to make a difference, And not falling prey to change my mind, More compassion n less judgement..remember the time, Your perspective was cloudy and all you could do was feel, It took many tears and alot of time to heal, Put yourself in each other shoes, but still put on your own, Never forgetting what it took you to grow, Never lose heart...never fall asleep, Be the love of God...be his hands and his feet.
