My Shoe Tree

My slippers when I needed to comfort,
My winter boots to endure the cold,
My rain boots to withstand the worse storms,
My heels to feel desired,
My runners for health and vitality,
She was my shoe tree.

Lovely words and imagery : ) Thanks for your comments on my poem, but it was just an entry for one of the PS contests (my wife and I don't have any kids).

Great use of specifics to evoke images of a caring person's attention to you (perhaps a mother or a "significant other?")
