My Shadow Walks Faster Than Me
Believe it or not
She dares to run marathons to be first
She never waits for me to pick up where I left
She never allows me to take a break and maybe a sip of water
She tries to look better than me with her tallness and her round figure
She is competitive
Ever watching me
She tries to hide sometimes, she likes the dark spots
She listens to every sound that comes from me
She must have a recorder, because all she does is listen and watch, she never says anything
She thinks am playing with her
She likes the haunting and the tormenting game
She thinks she knows all that is in my mind
"Sister" now that I know you are always around,
I talk less but I see more
Especially you!!
Walk faster, run the marathons
But the trophy is mine, will always be
I will win with my mind and rejoice with my heart
The two places you can never penetrate
