My Shadow
I tried to lose my shadow
as it followed me about
first it was beside me
or sometimes to my right
sometimes that naughty shadow
would trick me and try to hide
I know it is my shadow
as it copies every move
I tried to run away from it
but my shadow kept its pace
so great a competitor
my shadow run the race
I tried to lose my shadow
but she really will not leave
so I think I'll take her for a walk
oh I so wish she would learn to talk
