My Shadow

My Shadow By: Tom Wright 9-11-2006 Only my shadow at noontide Replicates the man I am. It makes no allowances For the man of morning that I was, Or for the man I had hoped to be. As day wanes My shadow grows ever longer, Until the time that sunset Eats its lunch and pops the sack.
