MY SEVEN POEMS TO AFRICA: SOMALIA

I FEEL THE PAINS OF SOMALIA EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT KENYATTA BLOODY STREETS FILLED WITH BLOODY AL-SHABAABS’ FEEDING THE HUNGRY CHILDREN WITH NAKED BULLETS THEY TRADE PEACE FOR FOOD CAN THIS BE FOOD FOR THOUGHT? FROM AFAR I SEE A WIDOW IN A ROOM WITH NO WINDOWS AND NOT WANTING TO SEE DAY LIGHT BECAUSE HER DAUGHTER DIED ON THE FIRST FLIGHT SO I DREW CLOSER AND ASKED HER, “CAN THE AXE IN HER ROOM ASK THE QUESTIONS OF HER LOST DAUGHTER?” SHE TOLD ME; “THE UNTOLD WILL BE TOLD WHEN THE STORY TO BE TOLD HAS ITS LAST PAGE” SO I FACE THE MAZE WITH MY DAYS LEFT TO TELL THE WORLD OF THE UNTOLD OF SOMALIA AL-SHABAABS’ LIKE A VULTURE WITH NO CULTURE OF HUMAN DIGNITY WILL DECEIVE THE SOMALIANS AND AFRICANS WITH THEIR FAKE GESTURES THEY SAY AFRICA UNION (A.U) WITH A DOMINION BUT THEY LACK VISSION LIKE A TOOTHLESS DOG WITH HER OWN VERSION OF A FICTION MOVIE CALLED “NO BETTER PLACE LIKE SOMALIA” WE HAVE TURNED A BLIND EYE ON THE MASSACARE HAPPENING IN SOMALIA AS IF AFRICANS WERE BORN BLIND YOU CAN PRETEND TO PREACH LOVE AND UNITY TO THEM BECAUSE FOOLS WILL ALWAYS BE FOOLED IN AN ATMOSPHERE DUBED “IGNORANCE” WHEN WE SLEEP AND DREAM OF A BETTER DAY, LET US ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT THE CHILDREN OF SOMALIA DO NOT SLEEP, SO HOW CAN THEY DREAM?
