My Secret Garden - a Double Lento

There’s a garden deep inside of me
Where there are seeds of variety
There are three special seeds with names
Care, happiness and equanimity.

I slip into my secret garden
Spy on the beauties of the flowers
I sprinkle water of imagination
Try to plant the new seeds for hours.
 
Seeds that I plant are words
Proceed then to put them in order fair
Reread to make a perfect sentence
Indeed it’s my poetical lair. 

I read through time and again
High into my firmament of mind
Nigh draws the composition
Thereby hangs the secret to find.
