My Romantic Hero

I miss my romantic hero,
Stage and screen would have requested,
What excellence acting,
I love the stage,
Yet my presence there is not requested.

I miss my romantic hero,
The church on a Sunday,
The love of God brings us together,
Perhaphs he is a minister,
To sing with the choir.

I miss my romantic hero,
To climb mountains would be excellent,
Live in the country of my birth,
Would you like the costumes,
The food, could that please your palate.

I miss my romantic hero,
A house, a home, where parents and children live,
Writing their destiny together,
Excellent futures to be shared,
God's plan and fortress.
