My Rockstar

Your sweat is pouring and
your golden hair is twisted like wire

The crowd is roaring and
your guitar strings are on fire

Your lyrics float through the scene and
your tattoos are like art on a gallery wall

I feel your eyes looking straight through me and
just to touch you I would give it all

I can feel the drum beat and
it’s beating with the pounding of our hearts

Yours for the heat and
mine beats the minute your music starts

The stage is your throne and
the crowd goes for miles

I feel like I stand alone and
I melt when I see you smile

We all sing in unison and
you can hear us when we sing your songs

Your music reaches millions and
I know that the stage is where you belong
