MY RESILIENT SON AADITYA

In the cozy, dark chamber of my womb , you fought hard to breathe,
And we prayed.
Your safe passage out into this beautiful world a huge concern,
And your too-soon departure to an oblivion,
our world’s dreaded fear.

A room in the hospital became our home, a surreal place,
Where hope intertwined with fear in every breath we would take.

The smell of medicines, the frequent pricks of needles,
The oxygen mask to keep me and you breathing and alive,
All this didn’t break my spirits with your father and family by my side.

A whirlwind of urgency to shield the lives of two entwined souls,
At the seventh month, a way for hasty entrance for you was made,
Your tiny frame bore the scars of early strife,
But through it all, you clung to the gift of life.

Every step you took was delayed,
Seizures, temper storms,
And subsequent hospital vists surged,
Yet within you, a resilience silently grew.

In schoolyard whispers, looks of contempt and curious stares,
You faced the world, your spirit unimpaired.
Branded different, yet you stood tall,
Embracing each challenge, refusing to fall.
Through tears and triumphs, you forged ahead,
Standing your ground strong.

A rock of strength, where others fled,
Engineering dreams within your grasp, you seized,
Now at twenty-one,
a milestone accomplished,

"Aaditya 2.0," you proudly proclaim,
A testament to perseverance, not in vain.
As a family, we've weathered the stormy tide,
Guided by love, with you by our side.
The journey, though arduous, has shaped you true,
Into a son, a brother, resilient and anew.
On this special day, as candles softly glow,
Know that our love for you continues to grow.
For in every hurdle, every triumph, we see,
The essence of Aaditya, strong and to be free!

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
