My Reflection
Drops of snow gliding down in the ever so cold breeze of winter,melting away,
........."oh how I wish my sorrows could also melt away",
I long for her though,
........."please come back"
........."Don't leave this young soul for maturity",
Puff of white air I exhale in sigh,
My reflection,she be a healer,she be the sorrow,
Sitting on the old dancing tree with time,
......."oh time how I remember you",
You were tying the knot of a hope,but you grew up and also burnt it,
......."She and I grew apart",
........."Changing",
........."And she became my sorrow",
........."But I long for her",
Your cruelty to me you justify,
........."Don't forget I am a young soul",
........."Don't be too harsh" I plead,
Time.."But why do you long for her?",
......."She is but your sorrow",
........"we took the path to forget her together",
........."She is nothing but a mere mirror now,a reflection",
........"Your reflection",
I dare not smear her,even if I want to,
........."She is my reflection after all",
........."I came from her",
........"I fear her power over me",
......."But I long for her love for me",
Time.."Don't say her name", *calling*
........."Her name is from the olden days of your young",
.........."Hot ashes and cinder burn your tongue"
........."Stay voiceless",
........."She is to be remembered,but forgotten",
.."I shall be your companion and your journey",
....."I shall breed you and heal you",
......"My children will also accompany you",
......."With their gifts",
Must I go on this journey?,
The road seems long,
This journey's gifts,blood,sweat and tears,
Would your children mind singing me a song,
......"She always sang for me",
I'd like to hear their echoes running to the mountains and back,
........"play with me oh children of time",
........"So I may not fall down again",
........."We are taking a journey",
........."Running from her",
........"Running from her so I maybe free? ",
........"Freedom and I,what a lovely couple",
But even if I'm free from her,would I be happy?,would I be loved?,would I live?,
......."Can you give me that?".
