MY RECKLESS LOVER

I don’t want us to be careful
For love itself is wild, untamed
Urging me to make it unforgettable
Because love was never meant to be safe.

We spend our nights on the backyard grass
Clad in moonlight, drinking till dawn
Partying all night long, letting our guard
Lost in the freedom that only love can give.

She kisses me endlessly in her car
Without a hint of fear, no holding back.
She writes me sweet poems
Plays with my body, just for fun.
No whispers, no words, just pure sensation
Telling the world we are in love.

A kiss lingers on the edge of my lips
A wink, a grin, a hug from behind
Her touch, reckless yet tender
Reminding me love is best lived without caution.
