My Rebirth

2017 is my rebirth I will rise from the ground I will celebrate life on the mountain top, dancing in a festival of hope I will open my wings and fly like a great eagle in the sky I will not let my yesterday defined my today…yesterday is over My life is a celebration of hope, a carnival of contentment Nothing will keep me down I will rise I see where I’m coming from and I will not return I will stand with the arrows in my back and feel no pain My enemies will not defeat me, they will see my cheerfulness I am stronger now, my struggles were my teacher I learned the lessons of life I am standing tall rising above my yesterday I will rise ...this is my rebirth
