My Puppy Dear

best friend, cute love, dog, friend, humor, imagery, word play,
Beloved Pets

MY PUPPY DEAR! ©

My puppy will always be a puppy---
His head is always butting in….
And his tail has always a wag!
His tongue will lick you dry---
His eyes are sad and beg a bone….
His bark is bigger than his bite!
His gums are two teeth short----
And he stages a white beard….
He licks my dishes clean!
He uses a ‘poddy’ most times---
Outdoors become his indoors….
My puppy can be bad and lazy!
We wake eye to eye ball---
Every morning in bed head to head….
He is a bed hog and I always lose ground!
He leaves me one quarter sleep space….
And it is a full mattress Queen-size!
His grooming costs me much more---
Three quarters more the price…..
Than my own haircut style  and blow-dry!
We are true blue ‘bros’ matched---
He has become my master mine….
And I his puppy dear!

He is the best grown pup but today for the first time in 9 years he has stomach and stool problems. We can not figure out what he ate and he has an appointment tomorrow for a grooming---he is so do for one and I hope he is better by then and gets his hair cut because it is getting very hot here!
