My Promise To You Jco
There are moments I still wonder why.
Question everything I gave, and every action
I blamed myself for you not wanting to try
But came to realize you never gave a fraction.
I bled my heart out for you
Cut even when the scar would heal
The wound in love was cruel
Hope in selfishness you chose to steal
You found me in a thousand bits
Picking them up one at time
Instead of glue it was a temporary fix
To make the shattering affect more define
Now that the tears have all fallen
I promise you only of this
Your face I will have forgotten
But mine will haunt your every first kiss
