My Promise In Three's
My promise in Threes
In each breath
I promise to take,
Thankfulness…
not sorrowful ache.
Happiness…
not misery or hate.
Acceptance…
not judgment, I’ll make.
In each breath
I promise to say,
Kindness …
with love
It’s the only way.
Softness…
in speaking
every day.
Careful…
not to hurt
easily may.
In each breath
I promise to see,
Beauty…
in all I will
Believe.
Goodness…
not evil
promise to leave.
Unity…
connected
all are we.
And so I’ll live
my promise
of three’s.
