My Prissy Aunt Minnie Back In the Day

These young people of today; what will become of them? They are so open, so free-spirited, so annoyingly risqué. I had no words for my prissy uptight great-great aunt, so I kept mum. Then I found a provocative photograph of her back in “the day”. I said to my mother “have you ever seen Aunt Minnie like this?” My mother laughed so hard, she nearly fell over. It was her all right. She was a Ziegfeld model, barely wearing clothes, a sexy little miss. We decided to keep it quiet. But neither of us ever forgot this sight.

Precious moments to be savoured. The ebb and flow of provocative times when lace was not so straight as we thought. Great poem. Best regards David in NZ

LOL. Deb had an aunt who was a flapper back in the day. All we ever knew of her was that she was a post office clerk. Interesting!
