My Pride
Colors flashing brightly,
I wonder what they say...
Does the red one say I'm lovely
and the green one yells stay away!
Does the orange one taste like the fruit?
Wonder if it screams when peeling of his skin;
ripping it apart, does it cry to not let me eat him.
How about the blue and white; twirling in the sky.
Do they hear a song for them to dance to way up high.
Look at the blue jay, opening her beak,
I wonder if she's singing or waiting for something to eat.
Black and yellow bee, where do you fly?
Your always a surprise, the only time I see you, is when you pass me buy.
Do the flowers get to hear you say hello again goodbye.
Green stepped on grass, do you feel much pain?
Are you telling me, please get off!
Or are you thanking me for the shade.
Children running with open mouths, I wonder what is heard;
when they smile repeatedly, it looks like they are saying words.
Lady in the window, I can see you move, if we were together, I could see your moods.
But sadly if you would stay, here a long my side, I would never hear I love you,
and that would hurt my pride...
