My Precious Gems

Little and cute braids in her hair. I walk through the door, and she's standing there. In a walker and smiles so much. She has the personality of her father and grace of her mothers touch. In a high chair she loves so much food. Little and feisty, she's my chunky waamba a bit spoiled too much. Both are much older now. They've lost so much. The touch of their father who they love and miss so much. They've cried so many nights and have felt betrayed. I would do anything to bring him back again. I know he's seeing them now, their both all grown, High school students and about to be on their own. They're my nieces you see. They just want things to go back to the way it use to be. One aunt ever opened sore. For when they're hurt, It destroys me even more. My love for these two girls is endless like time. One wish I have is to unwind. Give back to them the father they've lost. With tears in my eyes. I'll help them succeed. As a single mom, I know that a dad is all they need. I've been there too, He's alive... but, it's as though he's not here. They’re my, Precious Gems.
