My Prayer

Lord,you let me live,
for too many years,
only to fret,and shed
many tears.

I know,I must be here
for many,many,reasons.
But,each year,I see a
change in the seasons.

I have lived my life,
in sadness,and sorrow,
but,in life, there's always
tomorrow.

Why Lord? Why do you
keep me here,for death,
I do not fear.

When you figure out,
why i'm here,show me
a sign,or kick me in the
rear.

Lord,Don't ask me why
I feel this way.
For all my sins,I surely
must pay.

Forgive me Lord,with
all your heart.
When I get to heaven,
I'll do my part.

Amen
