My Prayer
Dear Father, forgive me for grumbling,
“My request wasn’t granted again.”
I expectantly asked You for sunshine,
While another prayed harder for rain.
Please grant me the wisdom to notice
That the world doesn’t turn around me.
You’ve answered my prayers in the best way
Only You the almighty can see.
