My Political Ordeal

Often I dream of being Prime Minister
And all the things I could change
Within such a position of power
Policies and reforms need to be re-arranged
A politician for the people is what I'd be
Realistic, down to earth with obtainable expectations
A voice you could say for the minority
Creating a path for our future generations
Prime Minister or ministerial seat
Being just a voice for the people
Accountable for acts that are passed
With opportunities to change that which is unequal
Too much today is only for the rich
With the rest of the population struggling
Homelessness and poverty on the rise
With so many on the streets suffering
The children of today are our future
Teach them well now and provide education
The country will then surely thrive
When passed onto the next generation
