My Poetry

I am not the best poet on this site, 
but if you ask me, my poems are more than all right. 
But people don't say too much or comment at all, 
I just want to hear your thoughts, no matter how small. 

I don't have a yellow star by my name, 
so I guess that is some of the blame.
I know if you read them you will be impressed, 
and more than likely, think I'm up there with the best. 

You're thinking I have a big head, 
but you'll agree with what I've said, 
as soon as you think about what you read,
you'll read on, full-stream ahead.

Linda-Marie Sweetheart September 13, 2010 at 7:45 AM Nice write on your poetry Chris.. the only way to receive lots of comments is to comment a lot yourself on all the poets posting poetry.. then enter contests so your name will become familiar... soon u will begin to win in contests and your work will be read more frequently.. all the avenues on Soup work together so all can share and enjoy.. good luck..with luv..
