My Poems Would Never Impress
My Poems Would Never Impress
Why would I really seem so mesmerized
After I on occasion eventually realized
Promising poem of day mine might be
After suffering from much hostility.
Poems broke rules and were out in space
Each one of them Poetry Soup did misplace
They started searching through the score
Of them they had hidden in bottom drawer.
Stared into their room on a high scaffold
At poems that by were buffaloed and baffled
And instead of their attention being robbed
Out into open space each one was lobbed.
So Soup is full of lobbers of good poetry
Especially when have been written by me
All of my poems other poets does impress
Am claiming as a deduction from the IRS.
