My Plea

I am a victim of the dreaded disease, Some of you know, others do not know, For a long time I have lived with it, Carefully living, just to enjoy life, AIDS the killer disease. I got it not because I was promiscuous, Neither did I contract it through infidelity, It's a means that you list expect, I'm surviving through the drugs, Friends ran away from me, When I broke the message to them, Even those who swore to be with me, Isolating themselves from me, Eight years haven't been easy, Stigma left right and center, I pledged not to mention it anymore, But I got the urge to put it down. I stand for the victims, I plead to the society, Your support our want, We promise not to infect you, Your vehicle, lift us at times, Your utensils we can share, Material and even finances, Your prayers very paramount. @Tha Formidable Cheru. #themonk
