My Piano

My piano

My piano
Holds my anger
As I smashed
The keys down
Playing violent chords.

My piano
Holds my guilt
As my tears
Fall on the beautiful marble
My quiet whispers
Are held secret.

My piano
Holds my distress
That I've had
For the years
I've grown
Hoping someone would capture
My heart.

My piano holds
My deepest passion.
