My Perpetual Fate

A Shadow, I am. My silhouette is dark, my eyes are gray, My footsteps; silent and gracefully gay. I walk among fellow graves. Death surrounding me. Pity me not! For exuberance holds my heart; not despair. My life is beauty. I do not lament death but embrace Her grasp. She who begins new life and nurtures lost souls. I envy, Her gift to guide the departed, Her beauty. For in Death we are free & know all. Death is not fear but beautiful darkness. I embrace my perpetual fate.
