My Pearl From the Sea
My Pearl from the Sea
How shall I survive, my pearl from the sea
Snatched away by a sneering storm at sea!
You were the apple of my eye, my dear,
Where shall I spot you in the immense sea!
Our voyage together was epitome
Of bliss just envied by the jealous sea.
Life without you is a vain adventure
In the wide expanse of the dismal sea.
Life without your wonderful company
Is like sailing a lonely boat at sea.
Let it go, let it go that scornful storm
That drifted you in the depth of the sea.
My heart is the seat of a strapping storm
That vies to tear me amidst the rough sea.
The wilful winds of that tempestuous storm
Are hurling my mind towards the deep sea.
If you cannot reach me, my lovely pearl
At your wish I`ll join you in the wild sea.
No barrier can keep you away from me,
Not even the depth of the stormy sea.
No ferocious storm can keep us apart
Amidst the rolling waves of the harsh sea.
If not in this life, surely in next birth
We`ll meet on the beach of a lovely sea.
