My Path

This poem goes out to all the girl's who have a had to chose one path or another
My path was one that I never imagined
I always thought I would be on my way to becoming a star
I never once thought that this would be my path
At the beginning of this path
It was hard
There were many rocks and bumps
And many obstacles
But I moved the rocks and jumped over the bumps
I kept walking
And have overcome those obstacles
Now my path is brand new
It is long, but smooth
And at the end is beauty and happiness
So I am going to keep walking on this path
And once I get to the end
I will wait
To help the other girls who need just a little push
To make it to the end of their path.
