My Passion

My Passion This is my passion This is my song Praise for my Savior To Him I belong Blessed assurance That I’ve been forgiven Such mercy and grace To Him I’m beholden. This is my passion My Jesus, my Lord Perfect submission Only He can afford Now that my being’s In His complete sway There’s never a reason To have my own way. This is my passion My love, my delight To tell of His glory His power and might To heal the sinner In both body and mind Release from the bondage Freedom to find. This is my passion My joy and my song Reclaimed with my Savior And His heavenly throng To spend every moment At His precious feet Where the streets are gold This passion ‘tis sweet. I love how this poem flows like the hymm Blessed Assurance, one of my favorites. I was singing that hymm to my dad when he passed away. It was a very peaceful moment and I'm grateful to God for allowing me to be with him when he took his final breaths. I think of him when I hear it. Thanks for sharing your beautiful poem. Blessings, Rhonda
