My Owner Has Flown

Look into my eyes Tell me what you see A cavernous emptiness A rolling sea A flicker of light Like somebody's home Or a sign that says, “Sorry, my owner has flown” “To parts unknown Been gone for a while Trust he'll return soon Am losing my smile” There are no guarantees It's a roll of the dice Will keep you posted Send luck that'd be nice Hang on I think there's A glimmer of hope Just heard a grunt Deep down my throat I did, I'm coming Outta my fog So I guess I'll be fine Been given the nod Now that was silly A humble explanation Go off on these tangents A wild imagination
