My Own War Started

I want it to stop,
I want it to end,
The wounds you caused,
They will never mend.

What you did,
It wasn't cool,
Why did I trust you?
I was a fool.

And every time
You didn't write,
My own war started,
With yet another fight.

Simple wording and rhyming, but it delivers clear images into the minds of any reader. It is difficult to find people to trust.
