My Own Eyes Behold You

My own eyes behold you.

My own eyes behold you, Oh Great Potter! designer of earthling man
You continue to mold us, holding us closely in your strong hands.
My own eyes behold you, Your Majesty and all Your Splendour
Resplendent beauty that's transcendent of all human measure.

My own eyes behold you, your wisdom in the sun, moon and stars
Observing celestial lights flickering, I know that heavens not that far!
My own eyes behold you, a God so loving in all your ways
Never do I want to stray from you in all my earthly days.

My own eyes behold you, a God so vigorous in your power!
You will save all who call on your name and run into your tower!
My own eyes behold you, your faithfulness and your loyalty!
To imperfect humans, who make mistakes, we truly are not worthy.

My own eyes behold you, your justice and your mercy is on display
To all who take the time to know you, to listen to you and obey!
My own eyes behold you, as you really are, Universal Sovereign King!
May your kingdom come, your will be done, as you rule over everything!
