My Only Wish

There were so many things
That I wanted in my younger years
So many things that I would always wish for
But that all changed the day I met you
You gave me something that no one else has ever given me
You have shown me something that I've never seen
You made me feel something that I never felt
But now that you're gone, all of your gifts begin to fade
And now I have forgotten all my childish wishes from before
And only ask for this one simple wish
I wish to have the one I love most right here with me
Right here in my arms to keep me warm
Forget any other wish I may have had from before
I only ask for this one wish
I wish to be back in my lovers arms
I wish to look into the eyes of my angel
This is all I ask of you
This is my only wish

I agree, Sig. A wish for love is the best kind of wish. Congrats on the selection. Dave
