Notes About The Poem

This sweater resembles the sweater coat I wrote about. I just love it but it's so darn old now! Too bad my body does not resemble the one of this SKINNY model!!

My Old Grey Sweater Coat

In many lovely colors my sweater coat was sold. Old, grey, and worn, it's my comfort! I wish I'd bought others in many lovely colors! Written by Andrea Dietrich Aug. 5, 2015 for the "A Prized Refrain" Contest of nette onclaude #5 Jacket

Is there a women out there that doesn't get this one? Whatever is our favorite, they get rid of it, unless... It is very expensive? If we buy 8 of the thing, it itches or something. We cannot win! I liked this and the verse was fun, light hearted, nostalgic, and just a delight! Thanks!

Congratulations, Andrea! We get rid of lots of things, but there is always something that we attached our heart to! I've got an old shirt which I wear when painting and wipe my brushes on it:) // paul

Andrea, That styling is popular now so you should be able to find it in a catalogue and get you a new one or two in other colors...Good work...Probably will be on the winners' list..Thanks for your lovely comments on my work..Sara

First of all, I would never like a woman that skinny! Second, although the sweater coat is old, the Refrain is new and vibrant! Good luck my dear Andrea!

There is nothing better than the perfect fitting coat, I had one I 'borrowed" from my husband, and he wished he had gotten a second...cozy write Andrea ;)
