My Music

Music fills my heart and embodies my soul
The sounds vibrate it's rock and roll
The band brings me back to days gone by
We are urged to sing along we must comply
The ground begins to shake as people start to dance
Bodies sway back and forth as off in a trance
I feel like I have been transported back in time
Bringing back the old moves it is time to shine 
For just this moment my youth reappears
The pulsating sound of music to my ears
The last song is about to be played
To be stored in my memory for another day

Beautiful poem about music, music is powerful and can take us back , and keep us reminiscing. I love the imagery here , especially the ending. This made me think of the times when the last song is played and how me and my friends swayed to the last beat
