My Mummy
I want to cuddle my Mummy
I want to tell her
To be strong
The big c is in residence
It has been idling
Now it seems for too long
It has decided
To make itself known
Say what it plans to do
I will explain this now
You won't have the final say
Not everything revolves around you
You see life goes on
Even if you are the big c
You will not reign
My Mummy will continue
To fight you
You have nothing to gain
Why do you do this
Why insert yourself
So securely into their skin
You're a parasite
On life's lovely journey
But you won't take everything
Who ever created you
Should take a step back
And see
That you will not
You will not
Take my Mummy from me..
