My Mothers Wish
My mother always had a wish
She prayed it would come true
But with all the hurt
and pain
What can she do
She prays for my brother
She prays for my sister
She prays for other
But not herself
She is sweet
She is fragile
She is the one who deserves
The wish for a good life
And this one time
I want to be the one
The one who prays for her
For her wish to be true
For my brother and sister come to God
For my father to come to God
For us all to be in heaven
For all the world to be at peace
So no child ever have to die
So no mother ever had to grief
So no father went to jail
That is my mothers wish
What can i do?
I'm just a kid
What can i do?
I'm not like her
I know though
That she'll help me
I know that
Some day this wish will be true
The wish will come to life
The wish my mother wants
My mothers wish
