My Mother's Death

I wish I was older I wish I could have done more But instead I watch you lay there Just gasping for help. I could have done more But what did I know I was only but a mere 4 years old. That very day I knew what it was Death had captured you And now u are on earth Sleeping every day. I never got to know much of you Only what I am told I wish I could have known Even your favorite song. You carried me for nine months I was your main reason for living But God taketh He put you in a better place. I wonder how it is up there mom Even though you are not by my side You are always in my thoughts in my mind.
