My Mother Earth

My Mother Earth, I thank you so For the spring of waters that flow, For the fresh air that I inhale, For the ocean that I do sail, For the beacon and stars that glow. There are seasons that come and go, There are mountains with plants that grow, There are three meals, my thanks don’t fail My Mother Earth. There are lions that beat their foe, The tigers with bright eyes they show, From the white shark to the blue whale, And my best friend that wags its tail, I’m so grateful in high and low, My Mother Earth.
