My Mother

The most precious person in the world
With poise and grace
With a smile on her face
No one can compare her love
She is  our greatest gift from above
The soft touch of the hand
Encouraging you, saying you can
A kind and lovely smile
Saying come and talk a while
She lifts you up when you are down
Always a smile never a frown
She listens to your problems big or small
She's there to pick you up when you fall
No better person can there  be
The person who means the world to me
She gave me life from the start
Forever she will be in my heart
My mom, the most precious one
We love you for everything you have done
The Lord gave us the greatest gift in you
To watch over us in everything we do
And mom I would love to say
You are the best Mother in every way
