My Mother
She’s been there for me
She’s not like any other
She listens to my problems
She’s my beautiful mother.
She has auburn red hair
And big brown eyes
She loves to eat olives
And poppyseed pies.
She loves to take pictures
Of the nature outside
And when there’s a storm
She doesn’t run or hide.
She writes amazing poems
About common things
And no offense mom
But she’s bad when she sings.
She loves to watch movies
Romance, comedy, and horror
She loves eating chocolate
And always wants more.
She can’t get enough
Of learning new things
Sometimes I wonder
If she’s hiding her wings.
She is an angel
Because she helps all
She’ll even catch you
In life when you fall.
She is my mother
And I love her so much
Even when she hugs you
She has an angel’s touch.
