My Moon Goddess

My Moon Goddess

The woman of my dreams is a lunatic,
A Cancerian with a full moon rising.
Dancing sky clad she’s a Wiccan heretic,
A tattooed Moon Goddess her spells surprising.

I worship to the altar of her Moon felt mood,
Amid a torrent of tears and tantrums.
A spell I cast on her to help her attitude,
No more flood of abuse and lift the doldrums.

My Moon Goddess is yet to succumb to my spell,
Each month she bawls and I look for the cause.
Is it me or my spell that’s ensured me this hell,
Or must we wait till she has Menopause.
