My Mistake

I was skeptical about you from the very first time we spoke
Everything seemed exactly like what I had been looking for
you were too good to be true

I kept this wall up for so long
that no other boy could ever get passed
but you broke down thoses walls
harder and with more force than anybody else

That was my mistake letting you in
I should have kept that door locked
I should have known you were going to hurt
My whole insides told me

Everyday that passed by I had to fight
                with myself
my body was way too over protective
They didn't want to let you in
            But my heart melted
         And you slowly stepped in
          This was my mistake
Yet I don't regret falling for you
I guess it was the only way
              for me to experience
                  Lifes greatest
                    Pleasure
                but also life's greatest pain
                              L.O.V.E
