My Mind

It’ll be worth it, I know,
just as everyone said.
So I sit here and try
to figure out what’s in my head.

One day you will see me
walking just down the block.
You won’t even know me
I’ll have turned back the clock.

Rewind all the sickness,
all the sadness and fright.
I’ll have let go of all that
and have new dreams in sight.

So when you see me
walking there all alone.
Don’t feel sorry for me
It’s MY mind that was blown.
