My Middle Child

Autistic he may be, but one of my boys is what he remains to me Unusually quiet one day and loud the next Sweet disposition all the way around Takes me to worlds I never would have thought of before Irresistable to those who know and love him New ways of thinking is what he has shown me Great joy in having him is all I've known Really really smart! I wonder why people are surprised? Each day brought new challenges, but would not trade them Intersting way of looking at life Great sorrow is what I feel that he is no longer with me Happiness is what I will feel when I get to see him again

Condolences for your loss ... may you be strong as await the meeting time ... keep faith as he would have kept you laughing. I have taught other autistic children, and still feel their bond with me. Love always

What a loving dedication to your son....I'm sure there have been difficult days, but the love shows in each line of your poem. ~Blessings to you both, Carrie
