My Merry Tune
Today I am dancing along to a merry tune only I hear
Others may give me looks, but these do not discourage me
My heart is on fire with enthusiasm, I am determined to be happy today
Some try harder to squelch my excitement, but I do not hear them
I am entertained by my ideals, rejuvenating in the world of relaxation,
Feeling my soul’s truth, smiling as I twist and shout in my own direction
It is a relief, and a joy to listen to confidence as she nurtures and uplifts me.
