My Margherita
Yes it is little old eccentric me
Sipping on my Margherita at 6:03
And it will always be eccentric me
But that doesn’t mean, my lamb,
That you have to take me as I am
You have permission to change me
And though it’s easier to change the past
I felt I had to tell you how I feel at last
I agree, what I do should be under review
When the music I play is angry and loud
I won’t laugh when you start to roar
I’ll stop the music. Don’t want a war!
I’ll offer you a drink and something to eat
Take off your shoes and massage your feet
But cause won’t be reason for the night
Just believe in me and my Margherita
The night will be ours to seek delight
I’ll make a delicious Margherita for you
Play only the music I know you like,
Look out glass doors for a perfect view
And like two youngsters who just met
We’ll cuddle up close like we use to do
The walls won’t crack, the floor won’t shake
My Margherita glass certainly won’t break
But it will be I’m sure, the perfect solution
High and in love and stopping a revolution.
