My Man

The event unbelievable, the situation mesmerizing,
burning holes within me,
all this touching, this kissing.
If i have moved on why do i wish he would be beside me?
I love my new man, love him to death,
i fall asleep with him in my mind's eye.
Cradled in his arms,
Staying away from harm.
Tonight I see,
you and me.
All this touching, this kissing.
Means more to me then,
a winners money fee.
This is astounding me.
