Such a respectful piece here. Your mother demonstrates her love for you by JUST wanting to be near the things that bring ultimate joy to you. She sounds soooo precious and kind. Hold onto her frail hands for as long as you can and have her whisper the sweet secrets of her life into your ears. You are soooo blessed, poetess! Gwendolen

I like how you called your poems 'grandchildren', English is only a language nothing more what is valuable is her emotional touch and the smile on her wrinkled face. There must be a dedication in Bengali for her. And thank you for reading n leaving a gracious comment on my poem, have a happy summer.

It's nice that your 100th poem was a sweet poem for your mother. I call my mom "ma" too. I just spell it ma. I bet your mom will appreciate this. Best to you, Diane
